Terms of Service

Last updated: August 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of https://www.havefaithtrees.com and describe the basis on which Have Faith Trees LLC provides estimates and tree care services. By using this site or requesting a quote, you agree to them.

Website content

The information on this site — including guides on pruning, permits, storm preparation, and tree health — is provided for general education. It is not a substitute for an on-site inspection of your specific trees by a qualified professional. Tree conditions vary enormously, and no article can assess a tree on your property. Do not rely on this website to determine whether a particular tree is safe.

Estimates and pricing

On-site estimates are free and carry no obligation. Estimates are based on the conditions visible at the time of inspection. If work reveals conditions that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand — internal decay, buried obstructions, hidden utilities, unstable ground — we will stop, explain the situation, and agree any change in scope or price with you before continuing.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Verbal or phone estimates are approximations only; the written on-site estimate governs.

Scheduling and weather

Tree work is weather-dependent. High winds, lightning, and saturated ground make climbing and rigging unsafe, and we will reschedule rather than work in unsafe conditions. During and after significant storms, emergency calls involving structures and blocked access are prioritized, which may delay routine scheduled work.

Property access and preparation

You agree to provide safe access to the work area, disclose the location of any known underground utilities, irrigation, septic components, invisible fencing, or low-voltage lighting, and to move vehicles and personal property out of the work zone before we arrive. We call for a public utility locate where required, but private lines installed by previous owners or contractors are frequently unmarked.

Permits and authorization

Tree removal in the City of St. Augustine, St. Johns County, and neighboring jurisdictions is regulated. Where a permit is required, we will identify it and can handle the application. You confirm that you are the property owner or are authorized by the owner to have the work performed, and that any applicable homeowners association or architectural review approval has been or will be obtained.

Insurance and liability

We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance, and a certificate is available on request. We take care to protect lawns, hardscape, and landscaping, and minor turf disturbance can occur on soft ground during equipment movement; we rake and restore work areas as part of every job.

We do not guarantee that any tree will not fail. Pruning, cabling, bracing, and risk assessment reduce the likelihood of failure; they cannot eliminate it. No inspection can detect every internal defect, and severe weather can bring down healthy, properly maintained trees.

Cancellation and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or move a scheduled job, let us know as far ahead as you can and there is no charge. We ask the same courtesy in return: if weather, an equipment problem or an emergency call forces us to move your date, we will tell you as soon as we know rather than leaving you waiting on a crew that is not coming.

Storm season is the exception worth stating plainly. When a significant weather event hits, emergency work involving structures and blocked access takes priority over scheduled maintenance, and routine jobs may be pushed. We will always contact you rather than simply not arriving.

Photographs of completed work

We photograph our work for job records, insurance documentation and occasionally for our website and social media. These photos show trees and work sites, not house numbers, and we do not publish customer names or addresses alongside them. If you would prefer we did not photograph your property at all, tell us at the estimate and we will note it on the job.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless other arrangements are agreed in writing. Larger projects may require a deposit, which will be stated in the written estimate.

Debris and wood

Unless the estimate states otherwise, all debris is chipped and hauled away and the work area is raked and blown clean. If you would like firewood cut and stacked, or chips left for mulch, tell us at the estimate and we will note it on the scope at no charge.

Concerns about completed work

Tell us. We walk every job with the customer before we load out for exactly this reason, but if something surfaces afterward, call +1 (208) 635-2100 and give us the chance to put it right before you go anywhere else. That is how a local company with 47 five-star reviews stays that way.

Governing law

These terms and any work we perform are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from them will be handled in the state or federal courts serving St. Augustine, FL.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time you request service applies to that work.
